Get away with us this March to new adventures on this fantastic tour of the islands of Georgia’s coast as well as …Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. This tour takes you to some of the most beautiful island coasts in the United States. Each Island has its own distinctively charming lifestyle, full of history and Southern Charm. Don’t miss the bus and leave the rest to us on this lovely new tour.
Day 1: Today we will travel to Greenville, South Carolina and overnight at the Drury Inn. Enjoy the kickback reception and evening at your leisure.
Day 2: Our drive today will take us to Georgia, where we hit the coast of Jekyll Island. A Jekyll Island Resort will be our home for the next three nights. Unpack, refresh, and explore the amenities of the resort before we enjoy an included dinner together this evening. B, D
Day 3: This morning let’s climb aboard the Drive-by Trolley for a tour of St. Simons Island. Be aware, they “speak southern” on this tour. Then visit the World War II Home Front Museum, which brings to life Coastal Georgia’s contributions and how the quiet region was transformed during the war. Explore the St. Simons Lighthouse Museum and Keeper’s Dwelling. After some free time in Pier Village, we return to our resort hotel. B
Day 4: Today will include a fun trolley tour of Jekyll Island. Then, learn about how people help save our turtle friends at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. After our included lunch, enjoy a dolphin cruise tour before returning to our hotel to enjoy the evening on your own. B, L
Day 5: Our destination today is the oldest city in the state, beautiful Savannah. Experience the city via the Old Town Trolley tour. This afternoon we will visit charming Tybee Island. Our overnight stay will be in Savannah. B, D
Day 6: We will depart Savannah this morning and travel the short distance to Hilton Head, South Carolina. We will enjoy a cruise that provides beautiful views of Broad Creek and many waterfront homes. Regular sightings of marine wildlife may include Osprey, Sea Turtles, Herons, Egrets, Pelicans and more. Watch Bottlenose Dolphins that live in Broad Creek year-round. After our visit to Hilton Head we will continue to Charlotte, NC for our overnight stay. B
Day 7: Today, we set our sights for home. What stories we will share about our Island-Hopping Tour of the Georgia Coast! B
