History comes alive as well as we experience Mark Twain’s Hannibal and learn all about the lure that has drawn people to the Mighty Mississippi River for centuries past. There is no better way to enjoy the Mississippi than aboard the delightful Celebration Belle as we cruise south from Hannibal to Grafton, Illinois, on an all-day 100-mile Riverboatin’ adventure!
Day 1: Depart this morning for an exciting tour to help celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Celebration Belle! We will arrive in the historic town of Hannibal, Missouri, located on the Mississippi River and home of the forever famous Mark Twain! We’ll check into our hotel for our two-night stay and enjoy an included dinner. D
Day 2: Today we will meet our local guide for a historic look at this Mississippi River Town. We will visit Mark Twain’s boyhood home and museum, and see the house of his sweetheart, Becky Thacker. This afternoon enjoy a sightseeing cruise onboard the Mark Twain, an authentic paddlewheeler. Dinner is included this evening. B, D
Day 3: We will depart bright and early this morning for an enjoyable and memorable day aboard the Celebration Belle! Our all-day 100-mile cruise on the Mississippi River will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner onboard along with live entertainment and Captain’s narration. We will disembark after dinner in Grafton, Illinois. We’ll check into our hotel this evening after a memorable day. B, L, D
Day 4: Breakfast is included before we board the Gateway Arch Riverboat. Travel through time on a replica 19th century paddle-wheel riverboat and be prepared for a stunning skyline view of St. Louis. We will set our sights toward home, excited to tell others of our adventures on this RIverboatin’ Tour! B
