What a fabulous trip this was! The breathtaking vistas of valleys filled with pine trees, the turquoise lakes shimmering under the sun, and the snow-capped mountains that have been standing for millions of years made Banff, Alberta, Canada such a magical place to visit. My name is Tony and I have been an escort for Croswell since 2017, leading dozens and dozens of trips to places across the US. We began our adventure with a visit to Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store & Casey Jones Village in Jackson, Tennessee. We visited the Casey Jones Railroad Museum where we put on our headsets and traveled through time. We enjoyed a delicious dinner inside the Old Country Store. After dinner it was onto our hotel for a good night’s sleep.

As we headed north to Holland, Michigan our first stop was Nelis’ Dutch Village. Here we heard a talk by a wooden shoe carver. We got to see many tulips.

Our first sightseeing attraction on our journey was Middletown Place Gardens. What a step back in time! It was fascinating to see the way of life back then. After arriving in Charleston, we checked into our hotel for our two-night stay. We then headed into the city for our included dinner at Hyman’s Seafood Restaurant. What an amazing meal!

If you’re interested in flowers, gardening, conservatories, extravagant and elegant landscaping, this Croswell tour is for you! This tour has lots of other offerings of interest, including several mansions and museums, all associated with the Du Pont family.
I always say it’s so good to see familiar faces. This time I was overjoyed during the earThis trip should be called “the friendship tour.” Why? Because of the 40 passengers, I knew more than half of them from past travels!
