Frequently Asked Questions

What does B, L, D mean on the preliminary itinerary?
B, L, D are abbreviated ways to indicate breakfast, lunch, or dinner is included that specific day.

What kind of hotels/restaurants do you reserve?
We would use a midscale hotel, typically with a 4.0 or better reviews on Google. We want to choose a hotel that is comfortable, reputable, full-service, and at a valuable rate that we can pass on to the customer.

What is the name of the hotels we are using on this tour?
We typically stay at Drury Inn, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, or something comparable.

How much walking is on this tour?
Be prepared to walk on each tour. Some tours include more walking than others, which is noted on our preliminary itinerary.

Can I stay on the bus during rest stops?
Everyone will need to exit the bus during rest stops and dinner stops. The driver also needs to have a break and nobody can be permitted on the bus without the driver or escort present.

Can I leave my items on the bus?
Yes, your items can remain in your assigned seat for the duration of the tour. If the driver leaves the bus, the motorcoach door will be locked.

What is the dress code?
We encourage casual and comfortable attire, especially good walking shoes. Any specific dress code requirements other than casual and comfortable will be listed on your timed itinerary.

Why are tours still on the website if they are sold out?
If a tour is sold out, we encourage you to join our waitlist. It’s very common for us to receive cancellations prior to departure. It is also very common for us to add an additional bus if we receive enough waitlist reservations.

Why is a single price so much more?
A single traveler is responsible for paying their entire room cost, where a double (or triple, or quad) traveler is splitting that room cost with a roommate. For instant, if a hotel room is $150, the single traveler must pay that entire amount, where a double occupancy traveler would only have to pay $75 each.

Do you offer AAA, AARP, or Veteran discounts?
Our vendors supply us with a group discount and do not allow any additional discounts applied to that already low rate.

Why is an additional fee charged when using a credit card?
As a family-owned and operated business, we strive to offer the lowest price possible. With the increasing cost of credit card related fees, we chose to add a fee for credit card payments only, as opposed to raising the cost of all tours, no matter how payment was made.

What credit cards do you take?
We take VISA and MasterCard.

How big can my large piece of luggage be
?
We recommend nothing larger than a standard, large suitcase (approximately 28-30 inches in height) and not weighing more than 50 pounds. While the driver will load your luggage underneath the motorcoach, you are responsible for handling your luggage otherwise (except when luggage handling has been arranged at the hotel)

Can I bring a large cooler to put underneath the bus?
You can pack a small soft-sided cooler to be placed at your seat.

Can I bring a pet?
For the comfort of all passengers, pets are not permitted. Thank you for understanding!

Can I pay my roommates’ deposit and my roommate make their final payment?
Each person is responsible for paying for their own trip. If one person pays for both travelers, that same person must make both final payments.

Can I get an approximate departure time before I sign up for a tour?
We recommend planning on a departure time between 6:00-8:00 a.m. This is subject to change based on the activities and travel time for Day 1.  Expect to receive your timed itinerary, by mail, 10 days prior to departure.

Where do I meet the bus?
We offer 8 pickup locations around the Cincinnati and OH, KY, IN Tri-state area. Parking is complimentary at all 8 of our pre-arranged pickup locations. Some of these locations ask you to register inside. See your timed itinerary for details. Always wait outside for the bus!

Who is my tour escort?
You will receive your escort name when you receive your timed itinerary.

How much do I need to pay to reserve a spot on a tour?
Most tours require a $100 deposit when booking.

Will I receive a refund?
You are eligible for a full refund if you cancel at least 60 days prior to tour departure. We offer cancellation protection that must be purchased at final payment (60 days prior to departure). With cancellation protection, you will receive a full refund, minus the cost of cancellation protection. Cancellations must be made to our office the day before the tour to be eligible for a refund.

How often does the bus make rest stops?
The bus will stop approximately every 2 ½ hour for rest breaks.
