Maine by the Sea
We made our way east to Syracuse, New York on our first day for our overnight stay.
Then off to Foster’s for our Downeast Lobster Bake. We got to wear our lobster hats. What fun we had cracking open our lobsters and what a great meal. Plenty of fun and laughter. Then back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.
This morning after breakfast we enjoyed free time shopping in Ogunquit and time to stroll along the walkway along the beach. You could even sit in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the view. The hotel had a hot tub and pool to enjoy as you wished.
Early afternoon it was off to Portland Maine for a tour of that city with a step on guide. We enjoyed time at three lighthouses. The tour of the city was amazing. We had time to shop before dinner. Then it was time to enjoy our last dinner in Maine at DiMillo’s right on the wharf. Our dinner was on a boat that they had turned into a restaurant. What a great meal and time with new friends. After dinner it was time to head to the hotel to pack up to start our way home.
On our fifth day it was time to pack the bus and start our journey home. We had breakfast then traveled to Mechanicsburg PA for our night’s stay.
After breakfast on our sixth day, it was time to complete our journey home.
We all got to meet new friends, and we had a lot of laughs. What a fun trip was had by all.
