Ogunquit, Maine, in the language of the Algonquin Indians, literally means “Beautiful Place by the Sea”. Our springtime visit will feature scenic coastlines, a Lobster Cruise, photo stops, guided tour of Kennebunkport and so much more!
Day 1: We depart this morning and set our sights for upstate New York and our overnight in Rochester.
Day 2: After an included breakfast we set our sights for Ogunquit where we check into the Meadowmere Resort for our relaxing three night stay. After checking in and refreshing, we will include dinner this evening. B,D
Day 3: Our breakfast is included each morning at the resort. Today we will enjoy a Lobstering Cruise, a guided tour of Kennebunkport, and free time in Ogunquit and Perkins Cove. After refreshing at the hotel, we will enjoy a delicious and traditional Lobster Dinner at a local restaurant. B,D
Day 4: After breakfast, we will enjoy a backstage tour of the Ogunquit Playhouse, one of the last remaining summer theatres from the Straw Hat Circuit, also referred to as Summer Stock, still producing live musical theatre. The theatre is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. After our tour there will be time to enjoy lunch on your own. This afternoon we will enjoy a matinee performance at the Playhouse. Later we will have a photo stop at the “Nubble” Lighthouse, one of the most photographed because it is uniquely “Maine”. This evening our dinner will be included at a local restaurant. B,D
Day 5: After our breakfast we set our sights toward home. We will overnight near Williamsport, PA. B
Day 6: Breakfast begins our day as we check out and depart for our final day together. Plan to arrive home early evening with great memories of a beautiful time spent in a “beautiful place by the sea”. B
