Day 8:  Wake up to the crisp air of Nova Scotia! This morning our guide will help us explore a portion of the lighthouse route and Peggy’s Cove, a beautiful coastal village known for its unusual rocky landscape.  This village of 60 people is situated on solid granite rock above the crashing North Atlantic surf.  Next, travel the Evangeline Trail, visiting the French Acadian site of Grand Pre.  It is here that the British expelled over 10,000 Acadians in 1755 to maintain a “British” North America.  Continue through the Annapolis Valley to Digby.  Board the ferry to Saint John, New Brunswick where you will spend your final night in Canada. B
