Day 1: We depart early this morning to begin our trek to the Great Northwest! We drive to the Quad Cities area where we check into our hotel. Dinner will be included this evening. D
Day 2: Breakfast is included this morning before we depart for South Dakota. This state is known for colorful scenery and Indian tribes. Tonight, we overnight in Sioux Falls. Dinner is included this evening. B, D
Day 3: Breakfast is included this morning before making a stop at the “World-Famous” Wall Drug Store. Then, we ride through the Badlands National Park, We’ll arrive for our three-night stay in Rapid City and enjoy an included dinner this evening. B, D
Day 4: Our guide will meet us this morning and we have a full day of sightseeing. Today’s touring includes: Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Crazy Horse Monument and Custer State Park, home to one of the largest Buffalo Herds in the US. Tonight, we have dinner and enjoy the “Lighting Ceremony” at Mount Rushmore. B, D
Day 5: Breakfast is included before meeting our guide for a tour of the Black Hills area. Today we see Deadwood, South Dakota, famous for the Gold Rush Days. Wild Bill Hickock was gunned down in the back as he played poker in the #10 Saloon. B
Day 6: After an included breakfast, we depart Rapid City for our drive to Mitchell, SD. This afternoon, visit the World’s Only Corn Palace. Dinner is included this evening. B, D
Day 7: We will enjoy our included breakfast and depart Mitchell for our final overnight stay in Madison, WI. We gather together this evening for a farewell dinner. B, D
Day 8: After an included breakfast we’ll depart for home with many fond memories of this spectacular tour of the Black Hills. B
