It has been said that “Baseball is Life” and this tour will highlight all that makes Baseball in America Great! Scott Rolen played for the Cincinnati Reds at the end of his Hall of Fame career. Regarded as one of the best defensive third basemen of all time, Rolen won eight Gold Gloves Awards over his career. We will include Scott Rolen’s induction ceremony as well as admission to the iconic National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. We also will spend an evening at Progressive Field in Cleveland watching two Reds’ rivals on the field…The Guardians vs. the Kansas City Royals! Our farewell to this great tour will be at Schmidt’s in German Village with entertainment and a guided tour of the area. Don’t miss the bus and join us for a wonderful summer tour.
Day 1: Depart early this morning and travel to our overnight lodging for the next two nights in Clinton, New York. Dinner will be enjoyed together this evening. D
Day 2: The eyes of the baseball world will once again be focused on Cooperstown, NY, for baseball’s most exciting weekend. We will arrive early at the Clark Sports Center to secure our spot on the lawn for the induction ceremony of Scott Rolen! Shuttle service will be provided this morning to Cooperstown’s National Baseball Hall of Fame where admission will be included. Dinner is included this evening as we return to our hotel. B, D
NOTE: Each person will receive a Croswell VIP folding chair for the induction event.
Day 3: We will depart after breakfast for our drive to Cleveland. We check into our hotel and then head to Progressive Field! Tonight, we will scout some of the Reds’ competition as we see the Cleveland Guardians take on the Kansas City Royals! D
Day 4: After breakfast we set our sights for Columbus and historic German Village. We arrive at Schmidt’s in time for a delicious luncheon buffet, entertainment while we are dining and a guided tour of the city. Afterward we depart for home with fond memories of America’s favorite pastime and our time spent together. B, L
