Join us on this escape to Biltmore for a unique spring getaway. Each spring, the Biltmore celebrates “Biltmore Blooms” where the Biltmore Gardens come alive with color as the tens of thousands of bulbs, plants, shrubs, and trees bloom for Spring. The spectacle is breathtaking, and something you will want to see and experience for yourself! Along with the fabulous Biltmore House audio-tour, a visit to the North Carolina Arboretum will make this spring getaway unforgettable!
Day 1: Get ready for a wonderful adventure to beautiful Asheville, NC area. Upon arrival in Asheville we will check into our hotel to refresh before our included dinner together this evening. D
Day 2: Breakfast is included at the hotel before departing for the famous Biltmore Estate. This morning we arrive at the 12,000-acre Biltmore Estate for an audio-guided House Tour. The heart of the Biltmore Estate is the 250-room Biltmore House, a European chateau built in French Renaissance style by the tycoon George Washington Vanderbilt. Our tour covers the first, second and third floor family and guest areas, plus the basement recreation area, kitchens, servants’ areas, and the Bachelors’ Wing. Our ticket will gain us access to the Gardens. The progression of blossoms throughout the garden will range from daffodils and stunning tulips to beautiful azaleas and fragrant roses. The Biltmore House joins the festivities as well, with a bountiful display of orchids and other stunning arrangements throughout. This afternoon, enjoy a visit to Antler Hill Village and Biltmore shops. After a very enjoyable day we will include a delicious dinner at one of Asheville’s most popular restaurants. B, D
Day 3: Enjoy your included breakfast before departing for the North Carolina Arboretum. Begin your self-guided tour at the Baker Exhibit Center then wander through gardens which include the Heritage, Quilt, Stream, Bonsai Exhibition Garden, and the Plants of Promise Garden. Arrive home this evening with fond memories of a wonderful springtime tour. B
