Don’t miss the bus and leave the driving to us! Join us for a terrific chance for you, your family, and your friends to experience our Nation’s Capital together! You will be inspired with patriotism as you take in the National Monuments and Memorials, picture taking at the White House, Embassy Row, the Smithsonian Museums, and we have included a visit to The Museum of the Bible, rated as a “must-see” new museum. A stop at Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania is included to make this a summer adventure to remember!
Day 1: It is eastward bound as we cross Ohio’s rolling fields and the picturesque mountains of Pennsylvania. Arrive at our area hotel where we will check in for a three-night stay.
Day 2: An included breakfast will begin the day. We will meet our step-on guide for a full day of touring. Your guide will show you the many landmarks of our nation’s capital, including a tour of the monuments and memorials, picture taking at the White House, and much more. We will also take a tram tour through Arlington National Cemetery. See the site of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Kennedy graves, the Iwo Jima memorial and more. We’ll end our day with included meal vouchers at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Mall. B, D
Day 3: Breakfast will be included at the hotel. This morning, we will begin with a visit to the U.S. Capitol (if available). Next, we will spend time at the National Mall and visiting the Smithsonian Museums. This afternoon we will visit the new Museum of the Bible containing six floors of exhibits and many ancient biblical artifacts. A delicious meal will be included this evening. B, D
Day 4: After an included breakfast, it’s an early departure as we are homeward bound. We will visit the Flight 93 Memorial and add this to our memories of days spent together in our nation’s capital. We plan to arrive home late evening. B
