This fun-filled entertainment package features Circa ’21 Matinee, the Celebration Belle Cruise, an evening at the Lavender Crest Winery and so much more! Don’t miss the bus and join us as we celebrate our 40th Birthday & discover hidden gems and old favorites on this Quad City Adventure!
Day 1: Depart this morning for our drive west to the Quad Cities. We will arrive and check into our hotel for our three-night stay. Enjoy your evening.
Day 2: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before visiting the Isabel Bloom Studio for a tour and browsing. Isabel Bloom was gracious and graceful, imaginative, and intense, a truly original woman whose life is reflected in her work. We will have access to the “behind the scenes” process of making each Isabel Bloom sculpture. Next, we will visit the John Deere Pavilion. Here we will look at the past, present, and future of agriculture and the world’s largest agricultural exhibit. We will visit the Deere-Winman House whose walls have witnessed technological and mechanical changes for nearly 150 years. We will return to the hotel to refresh for a fun evening at The Circa ’21 Dinner Theatre. THE ADDAMS FAMILY is a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family –this hilarious musical comedy culminates on the fateful night the Addams Family hosts a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. Return to the hotel after the show. B, D
Day 3: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before departure for our Celebration River Cruise. The Classic Oldies Lunch Cruise with entertainment will make for a perfect afternoon on the Mississippi River! After our cruise we will refresh at the hotel before enjoying a unique and delightful evening at the Lavender Crest Winery. Tucked away in the idyllic, open-sky country of northwest Illinois, Lavender Crest is the perfect location for a winery tour, delicious dinner, and enjoyable evening together. We’ll raise a toast to our 40th Birthday and enjoy time together with old friends and new friends alike! What a memorable day! B, L, D
