Day 1: Our Journey to French Canada begins as we travel eastward towards Syracuse, NY for tonight’s overnight stay.
Day 2: Welcome to your journey through eastern Canada, famous for its historic French and English influence, offering a true cultural appeal to all visitors! Check into the downtown Hotel Universel Montreal before enjoying dinner with a “French flair” this evening and the Montreal SkyWheel. B, D
Day 3: A hearty breakfast sets the pace for an exciting day in Canada, beginning with a city tour, stopping at some of its most famous sites, including Notre Dame and Old Montreal and Mt. Royal Park. You will visit the beautiful Montreal Botanical Gardens. This afternoon, your tour will head northeast to Quebec City. Whether you prefer a walk along Old Quebec’s picturesque streets, a ride on a horse-drawn buggy, or a night out on the town, there is something for everyone. We will arrive late afternoon in Quebec, where we will check into the downtown Hotel Le Concorde, Quebec. Enjoy a fine dinner tonight as you sample the menu typical for this region. B, D
Day 4: Awake to a fresh start today with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. This morning’s tour will take you throughout old and new Quebec. Situated high on a cliff overlooking the St. Lawrence River, Quebec City is the only fortified city north of Mexico, with its impressive stone walls. Visit Place Royal, Notre Dame de Vidoires Church, the Diamond shaped Citadel, and the Plains of Abraham. Your tour will then travel outside the city to the nearby d’Orleans, a colorful island dotted with historic homes and old farming villages. To eat a strawberry grown on the island is to be spoiled forever.” Continue to Montmorency Falls, a breathtaking white, watery cascade higher than the falls at Niagara! Soon, you will arrive at the world-famous shrine, Sainte Anne de Beaupre, a Basilica built in her honor. Enjoy dinner this evening in one of Quebec’s quaint restaurants. B, D
Day 5: Following breakfast, the morning is free for you to explore the historic district, visit the many specialty shops, or simply stroll along the banks of the St. Lawrence River, stopping in a French cafe for a taste of a delicious pastry. After lunch on your own we will leave Quebec behind as we travel to Kingston for our overnight stay. B
Day 6: This morning, we will enjoy a narrated cruise of the 1000 Islands. Then it’s off to the city of Toronto where we visit the CN Tower before checking into our hotel. Our farewell dinner will be included this evening, giving you a chance to reminisce with fellow travelers about the adventures enjoyed together! B,D
Day 7: Breakfast is included before departing for your final day’s travel, full of fond memories of your travels to Canada. Perhaps one day you will return! B
