Join us for a fun-filled getaway to Indiana which will feature delicious food and great entertainment. The Beef House in Covington, Indiana is a hidden gem! Established in 1964, it is family owned and operated and continues to thrive through four generations of the Wright family. Famous for their high choice aged beef, the food is delicious, and they also host a theatre with live, fun shows! At Beef and Boards, we will enjoy a delicious luncheon buffet and sing-along to the legendary songs of the Million Dollar Quartet. If you are looking for a getaway packed full of interesting sightseeing, delicious food, fun entertainment…look no further.
Day 1: We’ll depart for our drive that begins our entertainment adventure. This afternoon we will visit Danville, just across the Illinois border. Here we experience the vivid and unmistakable charm of colorful murals, that span throughout Danville and Vermilion County. Highly skilled painters and mural artists from around the world painted sky-high murals on walls, buildings and other structures that depict this area’s rich history. Late afternoon we will check into our local hotel and refresh for the evening. Tonight, we will travel the short distance to Covington, Indiana, home of the Beef House Dinner Theatre. You are in for a special treat of delicious food and delightful entertainment! D
Day 2: This morning after our included breakfast we will depart for our drive to Indianapolis and the Beef and Boards Dinner Theater. Enjoy a delicious luncheon and performance of Million Dollar Quartet. On December 4, 1956, an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Million Dollar Quartet brings the legendary December night to life featuring an incredible score performed live onstage including: “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Fever”, “Walk the Line”, “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On” …and more. We’ll set our sights for home after the show, anxious to share memories about our Showtime in Indiana tour experience. B, L
