Day 1: Get ready for an Ozark Mountain adventure! Today we will travel to Branson, Mo where we check into our hotel for our two-night stay.
Day 2: Enjoy your day at Silver Dollar City, Branson’s internationally awarded 1880s style theme park that features over 40 thrilling rides and attractions, live shows, 100 resident craftsmen demonstrating America’s heritage crafts, unique shops and more. This evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and a delightful evening show. Altogether a great day in the Ozarks! B, D
Day 3: Shortly after our departure this morning we will explore the beauty of Dogwood Canyon, as we travel into the Bison-Elk pasture and Thunder Falls crossing. This unique experience includes a narrated tram ride and lunch served at the Pavilion surrounded by gorgeous trees and streams. This afternoon we will arrive in Eureka Springs and check into our hotel for two nights. Tonight, we will marvel at the wonders of the Great Passion Play, set in a lifelike reconstruction of Jerusalem built against the base of Mt. Oberammergau. B, L
Day 4: We depart after breakfast for Springdale, Arkansas, where we will enjoy the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. This very interesting museum highlights the real shapers of Ozark history – the men, women and children who lived in the Ozark communities. After lunch on our own we will board the Arkansas & Missouri railroad for our scenic 3-hour journey through the Ozark Mountains. This excursion will take you over one valley trestles and through the 1700-foot-long Winslow tunnel for some of the most breathtaking scenery you are likely to see! We enjoy an included dinner tonight. B, D
Day 5: Before departing Eureka Springs, we will visit the “most beautiful little chapel in the world”, Thorncrown Chapel, and then set our sights for St. Louis, gateway to the Ozarks and more. We will enjoy an included lunch at Lambert’s Café…home of the throwed rolls. We will arrive in St. Louis and enjoy the evening at our leisure. B, L
Day 6: Following breakfast we visit the Museum of Westward Expansion and take a ride to the top of the famous Gateway Arch. We depart for home, planning to arrive early evening, anxious to tell stories about the wonderful, scenic, and exciting Ozark Mountains! B
