Day 1:   Today we begin our vacation to sunny Florida as you anticipate a gorgeous “Circle Tour” with a perfect blend of “things to see & do” and “rest and relaxation”. We begin our adventure with an overnight at the Drury Inn in Greenville, SC. Enjoy tonight’s Kickback Reception.

Day 2:   Let’s hit the road after our included breakfast this morning and make our way into sunny Florida!  This afternoon we’ll arrive at Amelia Island just off the northeast coast of Florida.  Amelia Island is easy to reach but hard to forget!  With 13 miles of beautiful beaches, abundant native wildlife, and pristine waters, this “must see” destination will not disappoint! We will check into our Amelia Island hotel for a relaxing two-night stay.  We will include dinner together this evening. B, D

Day 3:   This morning is yours to explore and enjoy some of Amelia Island’s 13 miles of Appalachian quartz sand beaches.  This afternoon we board a cruise departing from Fernandina’s historic waterfront enjoying breathtaking views of wild horses on Cumberland Island, Georgia.  We see salt marshes, wilderness beaches, dolphins, sea turtles, manatees, egrets, herons, spoonbills, along with shrimp boats and luxury yachts.  Later this afternoon you have time to explore Old Town Fernandina on your own.  This area, with many shops and restaurants, is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places.  Enjoy dinner and the evening as you wish. B

Day 4:   Following breakfast, our drive today takes us along the eastern side of the state. We set our sights for the city of Ft. Lauderdale, aptly nicknamed the “Venice of America”.  Enjoy a two night stay here. B

Day 5:   After breakfast we’ll visit the lovely Flamingo Gardens, the most natural Florida experience, with 60-acres of lush gardens and fascinating wildlife.  Tonight, we will enjoy a dinner cruise aboard the Jungle Queen which will provide us with a delightful evening together. B, D

Day 6:   Today we will enjoy another wonderful day in southern Florida as we enter the Everglades National Park along Route 41.  We visit the Miccosukee Indian Village and tour through the past, present, and future of their history, culture and lifestyle.  See demonstrations and exhibits of woodcarving, patchwork, beadwork, basket weaving and doll making.  Next, we will turn north along the coast to Fort Myers where we will check into the Drury Inn and Suites for a two-night stay.  Enjoy the hotel’s Kickback reception and evening as you wish. B

Day 7:   After our included breakfast we will enjoy seeing two wonderful attractions in Fort Myers.  First, a visit to the amazing Edison and Ford Winter Estates!  The grounds contain a historical museum, laboratory, and a 21-acre botanical garden as well as the adjacent winter homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford.  Situated alongside the Caloosahatchee River in Ft. Myers, Edison-Ford is a National Historic Site and one of the most-visited historic home sites in all of America. This afternoon we will visit the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve where you will learn the “wonders of the slough” and its impact of the ecosystems of Florida.  Enjoy the 1.2-mile boardwalk trail and an interpretive center before returning to the Drury for the remainder of your day. B

Day 8:   This morning, we will drive to Punta Gorda Isles and a very interesting stop at the Peace River Wildlife Center.  Since its beginnings, the wildlife center has treated over 50,000 birds and small mammals, offering a high level of skilled care by trained and permitted wildlife rehabilitation specialists.  The permanent residents can be viewed in their attractive, spacious aviaries and habitats, which are suggestive of their native environments.  Among the birds available for viewing are Bald Eagles, Hawks, Owls, Ospreys, Crested CaraCara, Sandhill Cranes, Pelicans, and more. Then, we journey to the central part of the state where we will come to rest this afternoon at the Drury Plaza Hotel at Disney Springs for our delightful two-night stay.  Disney Springs is a destination of its own!  With incredible dining, unique entertainment, and amazing shops it is a unique walkable open-air complex.  There is a resort-style pool, arcade, fitness room and bar area at the hotel.  Enjoy getting acquainted with this delightful hotel and complex before we depart for an included evening at the Polynesian Fire dinner show.  This authentic Polynesian is hosted by a Samoan family coming to you from the village of Nu’uuli on the island of Tutuila, American Samoa.  The performers will captivate you during live Polynesian music, ethnic dances and Samoan fire knife performances. You will enjoy a delicious dinner while taking a journey through the Pacific Islands. B, D

Day 9:   Enjoy today as you wish.  Venture out or relax at the hotel.  The hotel provides daily shuttle service to the four Disney Theme Parks.  Admission to the parks is on your own.  We will provide transportation to Blue Spring State Park to witness the awe-inspiring gathering of hundreds of Manatees. Admission is on your own.  It is always exciting to see a manatee, but it is even more exciting to see hundreds together in the same place! When the weather cools down, manatees around Florida make their way into the springs because the water remains a consistent 72 degrees.  How you decide to spend your day, you are sure to enjoy yourself! The Drury will be hosting its Kickback Reception this evening. B

Day 10: This morning, we will bid farewell as we travel through Florida and visit a local Citrus Store.  Early this evening we will arrive in Morrow at the Drury Inn, just in time to enjoy the Kickback Reception.  B

Day 11: This morning, we will depart for home.  We have completed this Grand Florida Circle with lots of fond memories and stories to share with family and friends.  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your experience! B
