Day 1: Depart this morning for our scenic drive to Snowshoe. Today we will check into the Snowshoe Resort for our two-night stay. Our stay includes a Summer Fun Pass which includes use of the pools and scenic lift rides. We will stop at the Top of the World Overlook for scenic photos, visit shops in the Village before enjoying a delicious dinner and exciting entertainment this evening. D
Day 2: After our included breakfast, the day is yours to enjoy as you wish. Use the summer fun pass to enjoy the pools, scenic lift rides and more. For those who want an adventure we will take a trip to nearby Green Bank, West Virginia to tour the Green Bank Observatory, the first trailblazers of American Radio technology. Nestled in the mountain ranges and farmland of West Virginia, radio astronomers are probing the furthest reaches of the universe, to discover answers to our most astounding astronomical questions. We will enjoy a guided tour of the Science Center and Observatory before we return to the Snowshoe Resort and refresh before enjoying our evening with include dinner and entertainment at the Inn. Day 3: This morning, we will enjoy another delicious breakfast at the Resort with a leisurely departure for our return trip home. Enjoy the scenic ride and plan to arrive back home early evening after a delightful Summer Getaway to West Virginia! B
