Day 1: Depart bright and early this morning aboard our deluxe VIP motorcoach ready to enjoy today’s drive. Our overnight stay is near Allentown, PA.
Day 2: After an included breakfast at the hotel, we depart for New England. Upon arrival we will check into a Boston area hotel for the next two nights. After refreshing at the hotel, we will enjoy an included dinner before returning to our hotel for the evening. B, D
Day 3: Breakfast is included this morning at your leisure. This morning, we will arrive at the Commonwealth Pier at World Trade Center to board the Boston Harbor Cruise Ship. On this cruise you will enjoy a view of Boston from the harbor, while enjoying a delicious lunch, all to music by a DJ. Experience a 21 Gun Salute, by USS Constitution Cannons, when she reaches Fort Independence on Castle Island! We have included a visit to JFK Library and Museum, which captures the powerful story of the Kennedy Years, giving visitors of all ages an uplifting, “first-hand” experience of President Kennedy’s life, leadership and legacy. Tonight, we will travel to The Royal Sonesta Boston Hotel for dinner, which is a delicious buffet along with cash bar. A chair will be provided once you move outdoors to enjoy the FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR, set off over the Charles River. Return to our hotel after the fireworks. B, L, D
Day 4: After breakfast, we will depart and meet our Colonial Character guide for a historic Boston and Freedom Trail Tour. Your walking/riding tour today includes part of the trail and its historic sites. This tour adds richness to the experience of the Freedom Trail. Boston’s Revolutionary history is explained by “historic figures” dressed as they did in the colonial period. There are so many fascinating stories to hear about! A stop will be made at Paul Revere’s House where your guide will give commentary about that fateful night! A visit inside Old North Church is included. You will have time to see the Printing Offices of Edes and Gill with a display of printing presses, documents and tools of the printers’ trade used from the 15th to the 18th century. After lunch on your own with time for some shopping at Quincy Market, we will depart for our drive to the suburbs of the City of Brotherly Love…Philadelphia. We will check into our hotel to enjoy a two-night stay. B
Day 5: Today is devoted to seeing the historic and fascinating city of Philadelphia. We will enjoy a guided tour including Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell, the Rocky Statue & Steps, and the famous LOVE sculpture. This afternoon, visit the US Mint. Learn about the craftsmanship required at all stages of the minting process, from the original designs and sculptures to the actual striking of the coins. We will include dinner this evening at a favorite local restaurant. B, D
Day 6: Breakfast is included before departing for home. Plan to arrive this evening with fond memories of a wonderful 4th of July Celebration and so much more!! B
