Adults and children alike will delight in under-the-sea adventures at Georgia Aquarium, a backstage tour at the Chick fil a Headquarters, and so much more. Don’t miss the bus for the exciting and family friendly look at one of the most fascinating cities in all the United States!
Day 1: We will enjoy our drive south today, arrive early evening and check into the Drury Inn for our three-night stay. The Drury features a “Kick-Back Reception” with hot and cold food as well as beverages. They also have an indoor pool to enjoy at your leisure.
Day 2: After our included breakfast we will begin a full day of fun. This morning we will enjoy a 90-minute narrated sightseeing Trolley Tour. We will visit one of Atlanta’s best marketplaces to browse and enjoy lunch on our own. This afternoon we will enjoy the Chick-fil-A Office Backstage Tour. The 60-minute guided walking tour (tour encompasses approximately 1 mile of walking) features the story of its Founder, Truett Cathy, and gives you a behind-the-scenes look at Chick-fil-A. This tour is a fun, storytelling experience about the fascinating history, culture, and values of the founder and much more. We will even see Truett’s classic car collection. Our dinner will be included tonight at a local restaurant. B, D
Day 3: This morning, we will experience the Georgia Aquarium which houses 120,000 animals. This is not a typo…the nation’s largest aquarium houses whale sharks, belugas, otters and penguins, just to name a few. We will complete this amazing day with a visit to Stone Mountain Park, Atlanta’s favorite destination for family fun! Nestled in 3200 acres of natural beauty, Stone Mountain Park offers breathtaking beauty and historical areas. We will take a Summit Skyride to the top of Stone Mountain and experience amazing views of the Carving, Atlanta Skyline and the Appalachian Mountains. Our dinner will be included before enjoying the Drone and Light Show with dazzling vibrant colors and dynamic animations. We will return to the Drury Inn after the show. B, D
Day 4: After breakfast we begin our journey homeward. We will plan a stop at Buc-ees and then arrive home this evening with great memories of a wonderful and fun experience in Atlanta! B
