Day 1 We’ll depart Ohio this morning and set our sights on our neighbor to the south, Kentucky. Our first stop will be at the Muhammad Ali Center, an experience and journey into the heart of a champion you will soon not forget. This afternoon we’ll meet our local guide for a highlights tour of Louisville. After checking into our hotel, we’ll take time to refresh before our evening at the Derby Dinner Playhouse. Back by popular demand, this musical adaptation of the 70’s classic film features some of the Bee Gees greatest hits. So put on your platform shoes and prepare for a fun-filled night! D
Day 2 After breakfast we will visit Schimpff’s Confectionery and museum. Opened in 1891 by Gustav Schimpff Sr the business has remained in operation this entire time. The museum, attached to the store, features candy exhibits throughout the ages, including Hershey’s and Nestle’s paraphernalia. A delicious and bountiful luncheon will be included at Joe Huber’s Farm Restaurant before we depart for our return through Ohio and back home.
