Day 1: We’ll depart bright and early to travel through the Pennsylvania countryside for our first overnight stay in Carlisle, PA. A buffet dinner is included en-route.
Day 2: This morning, we depart for our drive to The Big Apple. There’s nothing like spring in the City that Never Sleeps! Upon arrival, board the Statue Cruises ferry for a visit to Ellis Island and Liberty Island, home of the Statue of Liberty. We will check into our New Jersey hotel for a two night stay.
Day 3: Today, meet your tour guide and see all the city highlights including Chinatown, The Financial District, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and much more! Enjoy an early dinner before we arrive for our Broadway Show
Day 4: It’s our last morning in the city and we will make the most of it! We will include a visit to the National September 11 Memorial as well as admission to the 9/11 Museum. This afternoon, we depart for Washington, D.C. and check into our hotel for the next two nights.
Day 5: Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning before departing for downtown to attend one of Washington’s most exciting springtime traditions - the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade® from 10am – noon, rain or shine. The Parade runs along Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th streets. Lavish floats, giant helium balloons, marching bands, and performers burst down the historic avenue in an energy-filled spectacle of music and showmanship seen only once a year during the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Reserved Grandstand Seating is included. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the many festivities. Be sure to visit the shadow of the Washington Monument; this is the Festival’s primary stage. Enjoy recognized and diverse talent from around the region, country, and world, including varied genres of music and dance, martial arts exhibitions, marching bands, and more. Dinner is included before an evening tour of DC’s monuments and memorials.
Day 6: This morning after breakfast, we have included a tram tour of Arlington National Cemetery. Discover Arlington's rich history, witness the time-honored ceremonies, and take in the scenic landscapes and grounds before heading home. Enjoy your final day together, reflecting upon the exciting things you have seen and done in two fantastic cities!
