With thundering waterfalls, snow-capped mountains, vast glaciers, spectacular turquoise lakes, and grazing wildlife the Canadian Rockies are a region of dramatic wilderness. Join us on this Canadian Rockies tour and we will explore these amazing sights together!
Day 1: Today we begin our tour by traveling north to Madison, Wisconsin. Tonight, we will enjoy a get-acquainted dinner at the Mariner’s Inn. What a great way to start this fantastic journey. D
Day 2: After our included breakfast we set our sights for an overnight in Duluth. We will arrive in time to enjoy an afternoon sightseeing cruise. Dinner will be included this evening. BD
Day 3: Today, our journey takes us north and west, into Canada. We will overnight in Winnipeg, Manitoba for tonight’s stay. B
Day 4: Today we travel to Regina, SK in time to visit the Mounties Headquarters. We will enjoy an included dinner before checking into our hotel for tonight’s stay. BD
Day 5: After breakfast, we travel through Alberta and come to rest this evening near Calgary. B
Day 6: Following breakfast, we will meet our step on guide for a city highlights tour. A tour highlight will be a luncheon at the top of the famous Calgary Tower! This afternoon, we depart for Banff National Park, the heart of the Canadian Rockies, and check into our Lodge for a delightful three-night stay. BL
Days 7-8: These next days will be some of the most beautiful sightseeing days that you will ever encounter. Banff National Park is Canada’s oldest national park, encompassing numerous glaciers and ice fields, dense forests and alpine landscapes. During the next days you will experience a Gondola Ride, spend time at Lake Louise, Canada’s “Diamond in the Wilderness”, take an Ice Explorer Ride on the Columbia Ice Fields, take a tour onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier, and enjoy time exploring the village of Banff at your leisure. 2B, D
Day 9: Today we begin our descent back home with an overnight stay in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. This evening we will include a visit to the Living Sky Casino. B
Day 10: Today we continue our journey and reenter the United States. We will overnight in Bismarck, North Dakota. Dinner is included this evening. BD
Day 11: We depart early this morning, continuing east. Our overnight stay will be in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. B
Day 12: After an included breakfast, we enjoy a leisurely drive to Janesville where we enjoy a matinee performance and buffet Brunch at the Fireside Dinner Theatre! What an exciting farewell shared with new friends during this exciting journey. B, Brunch
Day 13: It’s homeward bound today. Plan to arrive back early evening with great stories to tell and pictures to share with family and friends! B
