DC on a Budget!

Due to restrictions currently enforce in our Nation’s Capital we have revised the DC on a Budget Tour itinerary. The U.S. Capitol Building is not open to the public and no groups are currently being admitted to the Smithsonian Museums. Therefore, we have added a tour of Mt. Vernon in the place of these attractions. We have also included a meal voucher at the Pentagon City Mall as an addition to the tour. We hope that you will agree there is still much to see on this DC on a Budget Tour!
Day 1: It is eastward bound as we cross Ohio’s rolling fields and the picturesque mountains of Pennsylvania. We will plan to stop for dinner (on your own) before arriving at our hotel where we will check in for a three-night stay.
Day 2: An included breakfast will begin the day. This morning we have included a visit to Mt. Vernon, an American landmark and former plantation of George Washington and his wife Martha. The estate is on the banks of the Potomac River. We have included admission to the house and grounds. Lunch will be on your own at Mt. Vernon food court and/or food truck on the grounds. This afternoon we will visit Arlington National Cemetery. For dinner we have included meal vouchers for Pentagon City Mall. After dinner we will enjoy a driving tour of Washington’s monuments. Return to the hotel after a great day of touring. BD
Day 3 After our included breakfast we will meet our step-on guide for a full day of touring. Your guide will show you the many landmarks of our nation’s capital, including a tour of the monuments and memorials, picture taking at the White House, and outside viewing of the US Capitol, the Smithsonian Mall complex and much more. We will include a box lunch today during our touring. BL
Day 4: After an included breakfast, it will be homeward bound with memories of days spent together in our nation’s capital. We will stop enroute at the Flight 93 Memorial that honors the actions of the 40 passengers and crew aboard Flight 93 who thwarted the attack on our U.S. Capitol. We will plan to arrive home early evening. B
