Join us in 2022 on this relaxing yet exciting destination…Melbourne Beach. Melbourne is a perfect destination for an extended stay. Set beside the Indian River Lagoon along Florida’s Space Coast, Melbourne offers miles and miles of unspoiled beaches, a historic downtown district, easy access to the Kennedy Space Center, Orlando’s theme parks and more. The Crown Plaza Oceanfront is a perfect host for our stay. It features an on-site restaurant, oceanfront deck with Tiki Bars, in-room refrigerators, outdoor pool and more. We hope you will agree that you will not want to “Miss the Bus” for this Florida Leisure experience!
Day 1 We’ll depart bright and early anxious to begin our Florida Tour! The first leg of our journey takes us through the Kentucky and Tennessee countryside, over the Smoky Mt. range for our overnight near Macon, Georgia.
Day 2 After breakfast we make our way south planning to arrive in Melbourne this afternoon and check into the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Beach Oceanfront Hotel for a relaxing 7-night stay. The hotel staff will greet us with a welcome reception with light refreshments upon our arrival. Unpack and unwind, taking time this evening to become acquainted with the hotel, visit the Tiki Bar, take a stroll on the beach…whatever your pleasure. A delicious full course American breakfast will be included each morning at the hotel. B
Days 3-4-5-6-7-8 Each day we will provide transportation to area attractions. You might want to take in one or more of Orlando’s famous Theme Parks…We will also provide transportation to the downtown Historic district for shopping and dining options. Transportation will be provided to the Kennedy Space Center and Melbourne Square Mall. Admission will be on your own to whichever options you chose. Of course, you may wish to stay at the hotel, enjoy the grounds and pools, relax with a good book or stroll along the Atlantic Ocean. We have included two delightful dinners during our stay. 6B, 2D
Day 9 After breakfast we will depart for our drive home. A stop will be made for fruit and pecans somewhere along our route back toward Atlanta for our overnight stay. B
Day 10 Breakfast will be included before we set our sights toward home. We’ll arrive early evening, certainly full of wonderful memories to share with our family and friends from our Melbourne adventure! B
