Day 1: Welcome aboard as we set our sights for the Pennsylvania Dutch country! We will arrive and check into our hotel for a three-night stay.
Day 2: After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will board the coach for Hershey’s Chocolate World, where we will learn the fascinating process of chocolate making on Chocolate World’s simulated factory tour ride. We will walk through the tropical jungle where cocoa beans are harvested, then follow the cocoa bean’s journey to a boat dock where they are loaded into ships headed for America. From there we will visit Hershey Gardens for a lovely tour before heading back to our hotel to refresh. After refreshing we will depart for the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater where we will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and enjoy Waitress. Based on the 2007 film, Jenna is unhappy, stuck in a loveless marriage and living in a small town. An expert pie-maker, she enters a pie making contest in the hopes that its grand prize will be her chance to leave. Celebrate the power of friendship, dreams, chosen families, and the beauty of a well baked pie! B, D
Day 3: After breakfast we will enjoy a day of sightseeing in the heart of the Amish land. Our guide will show us the true “Amish Experience”. We will tour the Amish Farmlands, visit an Amish House and One-Room School, and enjoy the Amish Experience Theatre five-screen production of Jacob’s Choice. After a unique day of sightseeing, we will include a delicious dinner before arriving at the Sight and Sound Millennium Theatre for tonight’s spectacular performance of NOAH! With a catastrophic storm on its way, Noah is given a monumental task: build a boat big enough to save his family from a flood what will cover the entire earth. As Noah endeavors to live faithfully in the midst of an increasingly chaotic world, can he trust that God’s promises run deeper than the rising waters around him? B, D
Day 4: After our included breakfast we depart for our journey home. Plan to arrive back early evening with wonderful memories of a wonderful and uplifting tour! B
