Join this great adventure including a cruise on the Potomac to view Cherry Blossoms, a top-run Broadway Show, Arlington National Cemetery, Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island and more.
Day 1: “Spectacular” is perhaps the best way to describe the opportunities for sightseeing that lie before us as we travel today to both our nation’s capital and the Big Apple! We depart bright and early to travel through the Pennsylvania countryside for our first overnight stay in Carlisle, PA. We will stop enroute in Shanksville to visit the impressive Flight 93 Memorial. We will enjoy dinner together this evening as we get better acquainted. D
Day 2: This morning, we depart for our drive to The Big Apple. There is nothing like spring in the “City that Never Sleeps”! Upon arrival, board the Statue Cruises ferry for a visit to Ellis Island and Liberty Island, home of the Statue of Liberty. We will check into our New Jersey hotel for a two-night stay. B
Day 3: Today, meet your tour guide and see all the city highlights including Chinatown, The Financial District, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and much more! You will have some time in Times Square before we enjoy a delicious dinner and then arrive at the theatre to see a Broadway Show! B, D
Day 4: This morning, we depart for our drive to the Nation’s Capital, Washington, DC. Upon arrival, we will include a tram ride through Arlington National Cemetery over 600 acres to honor and remember those who served our country. Our guided tram tour will stop at the Changing of the Guard, the JFK Memorial and more. Dinner will be on our own before a guided driving tour of DC’s monuments and memorials. B
Day 5: Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning before arriving at The National Mall to visit the museums at the Smithsonian Complex. This afternoon we will board our Potomac sightseeing cruise which highlights this lovely time of year, Cherry Blossom springtime! Dinner will be included this evening before returning to our hotel. Day 6: This morning after breakfast, we depart for our return trip home. Plan to arrive home this evening with memories of days spent enjoying Cherry Blossoms, Broadway and more! B
