This year will mark the 200th anniversary of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and this gloriously colorful event to celebrate this milestone will amaze and delight you! Also, enjoy a day of sightseeing in the historical and fascinating city of Philadelphia. If you’ve ever stopped and smelled roses, or admired any other flower for that matter, the Philadelphia Flower Show invites you to an experience of beauty like no other! Pack your bags and don’t miss the bus for this memorable event.
Day 1: Depart for Philadelphia, excited to begin our journey east. Stops will be made along the way. Upon arrival we will check into our hotel for the next three nights. Our hotel is located approximately 1 mile from downtown so our location is perfect for getting into the city with little effort.
Day 2: Breakfast is included before enjoying a guided tour of Philadelphia including Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross House, and the Rocky Statue and Steps. This afternoon, visit the US Mint. Learn about the craftsmanship required at all stages of the minting process, from the original designs and sculptures to the actual striking of the coins. Dinner will be included this evening. B, D
Day 3: Breakfast is included before we enjoy the day at the 2027 Philadelphia Flower Show. Marvel at the beautiful flowers and displays at the world’s oldest and largest indoor flower show. This year’s show will be a true celebration of how our shared love of horticulture and gardening unites us all. Dinner is included this evening. B, D
Day 4: Following breakfast, we depart for home with great stories to tell family and friends about the beauty and history of Philadelphia! B
