Join us on this southern Spring adventure to the iconic white-sandy beach that is Daytona! Daytona has long been hailed as the “All-American” Beach and is known as the “Fun Coast” with 23 miles of white sandy beaches, historical attractions, and entertainment options. We will spend 6 nights at Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort. Located along the ocean, the resort features four pools, Jacuzzis, a sauna and more. Each room includes a kitchenette and there is a grocery store nearby so you can prepare your own meals if you’d like.
Day 1: We begin our “Escape the winter blues in sunny Florida” getaway! Our overnight will be spent in Macon on our way south.
Day 2-7: We arrive this afternoon at our home for the next 6 nights – Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort. We will shuttle to the local grocery store for those who wish to stock up on some items for your rooms. The days and nights are yours to do as you please. You will have the freedom to enjoy your vacation at your own pace, whether you want to relax on the beach, shop at the many great nearby stores or see the sights. B
We will include a Manatee & Dolphin Boat Cruise this week. Cruise along the Intracoastal Waterways between Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach & take in the breathtaking sights while learning about the local history and wildlife. One evening we will include the Polynesian Luau Dinner Show, including a fire-knife performance. This Polynesian experience is rated one of the top things to do while in Daytona Beach. D
Optional Transportation will be provided to area attractions. Admission is on your own. The Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier are located near our hotel and is home to shops, restaurants, entertainment, amusements and more! You may also want to check out Sugar Mill Botanical Gardens, which is intriguingly set amid the ruins of a 19th century sugar factory and a defunct 1940 amusement park.
Day 8: We will say goodbye to Daytona Beach this morning and set our sights for Marietta, Georgia where we will overnight at the Drury Inn and Suites.
Day 9: Arrive home this evening, relaxed and refreshed from our spring fling at the beach! B
