“Mayberry Comes to Scottsburg” is a Mayberry themed festival where fans gather in the Southern Indiana City of Scottsburg for fun and entertainment. The festival features Mayberry tribute artists and other special guests of The Andy Griffith Show. Other fun events include a Meet and Greet, dinner, a parade, a car show, variety shows and more. We will also enjoy some entertaining attractions in Louisville as well as a delightful visit to Madison, Indiana and Clifty Falls State Park. Don’t miss the bus and join us for a delightful tour down memory lane and more.
Day 1: We will depart this morning for our drive south to Louisville, Kentucky. Today, we will visit the Frazier Kentucky History Museum, voted Best in Kentucky in 2026. Among its many exhibits, the Museum is also home to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Welcome Center. We will enjoy a production at the museum, “KentuckyShow!” that explores the ways in which Kentucky’s past, present, and choices for the future converge to create an utterly unique and engaging place. This show will excite your senses and steal your heart! We will also include a delicious luncheon today. After our sightseeing adventures we will check into the Drury Hotel for our two-night stay. Enjoy the amenities of the hotel including the KickBack Reception tonight. L
Day 2: This morning after breakfast we will set our sights for Scottsburg and their Mayberry themed festival. Activities today will include a day of fun and entertainment. There will be vendors and food, a Mayberry parade, Mayberry Contests, music and behind the scenes stories of The Andy Griffith Show, a Celebrity Meet and Greet, and dinner. We will return to the hotel after a great day of excitement and fun! B, D
Day 3: After breakfast, we will depart for the lovely Ohio River Town of Madison, Indiana. Upon arrival, we will climb aboard the Madison Trolley Line and explore the charming streets, rich history, and local landmarks that make the town of Madison one of America’s “Best Small Towns in the Midwest”. The charming ride through the historic river town will include stunning architecture, fascinating stories, and the heartwarming spirit of small-town Indiana. After our tour, we will drive through Clifty Falls State Park and enjoy a delicious luncheon at Clifty Falls Restaurant, overlooking the Ohio River. After lunch, we will visit the Lanier Mansion Historic Site for a glimpse into early American life. This afternoon, we will depart for our return trip home, anxious to share stories and memories with our family and friends. B, L
